One of my sons is passionate about the whole plastics problem. One of my favorite
facebook posts of his was something like, 'Go ahead! Just throw all your plastic on the ground! It's OK! It all ends up in the ocean anyway because it never really breaks down, just gets smaller. Really! You don't have to put it in the trash anymore because eventually it all ends up in the ocean!" Then he had some link to an article.
So I'm not surprised that we're breathing it as well. It reminds me that what we do on a personal level seems like such a drop in the
bucket when the problem is so daunting, but collectively it can maybe, maybe add up to something. It really does start in our own backyard.
