Does anybody know if European Hazels (Corylus avellana) can be successfully grafted onto the
native PNW beaked hazels (Corylus cornuta)?
I have a bunch of beaked hazels that I'm probably going to remove (yes I know they produce edible nuts, but they are few and far between and rather small), but was thinking of trying out grafting the Eur. hazels onto those already existing
root systems.
