this dam services the chook houses and the orchard
using 1 -1/2 inch polypipe inserted by a ripper feed on the tractor
beware of poly risers as the pulling of the hose can snap them off
and don't forget to have some stop valves for such occasions
just over the wall of the dam is the first stop valve
and another just above the first outlet
just in case of pipe blow out or some shmuck ploughing /ripping/contouring over the pipe etc

We have gravity feed from our spring. Down to the old farm house we get a lot of pressure. Enough that I tried putting in a polytank for storage and turned a tube into a ball. Pretty wild. Then the fittings blew out! I want to do microhydro. We have a lot of water and head.
