Hello, my family has a small flock of Shetland/Finn ewes with a BFL ram. The resulting lambs being F1 mules. This is the first year with the BFL ram. Normally the Shetlands we butcher are VERY lean and small due to genetics and being strictly pastured, no grain. I wanted to fatten them with corn that I grew myself. I know sheep can eat field corn, but can they eat Indian flint corn? I grew a lot last year to use as flour, and I wanted to plant a quarter acre of it to fatten up some sheep we’ll be eating. Thanks!
