I'm trying to do rough, rough math on what would be the cheapest insulation to put in myself, in the future, while also evaluating the pros and cons of the insulation itself.

I'm eyeing hempcrete, cellulose, and just traditional fiberglass. I can't say which is better at the moment, but I'll try and post when I've made a decision and bounce it off of you guys.

There's just so much to look into, so little time.

I'll try not to be long winded, but it is hard.

I'm investigating using hempcrete as a source of insulation for a home I'm planning in my head. Nothing is set in stone now, besides I want to use natural building techniques.

I would like to know if anyone has a sort of amount of hemp needed per square foot, or something similar. Looking to use the 4 1 1 measurement of hemp, lime, and water.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
