Someone previously set up an RSS feed page for the old forums. Does anyone know how to do this for the new forums?
Thanks all.

I see rss icons all over the place. Do they not work?

honestly I haven't tried those because I am looking for an RSS for updates on the whole site. I also haven't totally looked for that feature yet but was hoping someone else already found it. I was spoiled previously with a page someone setup that gave updates on the whole site. I will look through here more extensively and report back.

yeah I'm an idiot. I went to the "Recent Topics" link under the "permaculture forums" banner and clicked the RSS icon next to the thread title and it took me to a page that I previously thought that someone setup. I just added that page to my bookmarks bar.

You might want to change the RSS so that the titles for the feeds come in as Permies instead of Java Ranch. Was consistent for green building, alternative energy and recent topics.

The existing feeds appear to show only the initial item in a thread, not further posts. That's of limited use to me.
I'd be interested in a feed containing any new posts. I currently go through almost every forum to see which topics have new posts. I do this by hand, so having a feed would be faster for me, even with filtering out the things I'm not interested in. I think a feed like that could have a pretty short time frame for the data request -- new in the last day or 2 sounds about right. Don't know if anyone else here is a feed junkie, but that'd suit my wishes!

I believe we have fixed all the RSS feeds now. Please let us know if you find any more instances of "JavaRanch" in the feeds.
