So glad I found you all!

I tried to adjust to the environment where I was born but after 30+ years can't get the grip ..
As I'm aware nothing last forever and planing to live at least as much as before .. wouldn't forgive my self not to try
Kinda live in country with lot "un"touched nature (if that exist in this planet) and had fortune to buy a piece of land that's been "free from humans" for about 10 years so ..
I'm hopping I'll live day to live my dream .. independent and free, just another life form in nature!

just started to read forum, but thanks in advance for sharing ideas and experience

respect, branimir

p.s. atm I'm keeping bees and started to plant some fruits around .. learning, planing .. enjoying every moment .. still no roof above the head there but spirit is on the level!

especially during winter time

well hello NZ my childhood dreamland .. well it's still a wish but kinda figured that nature is same everywhere so I don't have that kind of enthusiasm for moving around the world .. al do my gf is still in dreams about living there but shhh .. as they say you never know

anyway from my perspective in this region there are ppl with .. (I'll use word) "health" attitude toward nature but .. as western "culture" is "cultivating" without mercy .. you know when I was a kind majority of food was what today is ecological/organic and that sort ... I saw fast change to worse .. even with protest and negative attitude toward globalisation ppl had no chance

anyway I study agriculture very long so I'm not just shooting blanks here

Hi Branimir,

nice to see there are more of us here! Hope you'll find time to describe more about what you're up to, I like reading other people's plans since I'm in a big plans also.

I started this tread a year ago, since then I did a lot mostly according to this plans. I know at least a couple of people from Croatia occasionaly hanging on here, I guess there are much more but when someone is becoming self sustainable, he sometimes dissapear from cyberspace.

I don't consider land "mine" but I understand the meaning just wanted to say cause whole philosophy of my life is based on finding the meaning of life .. as I go that way I said first I should experience life as it is .. I believe I'm trying to do so by exploring natural way of how should I live just as a life form .. without al mambo-jumbo civilisation illusion of progress xD

plan is to do as minimum damage possible from natural point of view and make maximum from creative constructive fair and square life as a human being

p.s. was talking nonsense in previous post .. as time for edit is gone I will try to quote-edit myself

I had a serious head case so .. I'll try to take best out of this nonsense I wrote ..

it should stand; before, everything was "ecological" and healthy in a way no poisons were introduce in farming, consumption and agriculture in general was chemistry free .. then "something" happen and everything gone to berserk .. so now humans define some to be organic .. some ecological .. some that some this .. al those classification and qualifications are plane sand in the eyes from my perspective ..

long story short => you can't solve garbage problem if you don't STOP producing garbage => doesn't have to be a genius to understand that right?

Hi, I am glad to hear there is permaculture in Croatia. I have just hosted a lovely wwoofer from Zagreb who had not heard of permaculture and did not know about anything happening there. It sounds like a beautiful country ripe for a new permaculture vision.
Have you considered having wwoofers to help? I have found it to be wonderful.

Yup,
volantary work is what we depend on for many years of working in Italy and slovenia. we have had several people from all around for learning sinergic farming, composting, mass heating, local development ecc. Nice to see others in croazia near by. we are building a network of seed savers and will be happy to hear from any of you here for collaboration.

Hello Branimir,

we are thinking about to realize our LIFE-project in Croatia.

Maybe you want to join or you a have an idea where we can find the best place in Croatia.

We want to create a paradise on earth. Please help us to find a nice piece of land to build an eco-campground, eco-village, eco-restaurant, permaculture-project, co-housing ... A reserve for everybody who understands, for young & old and persons with or without a handicap. Please share, support & contact us. Thanky you ! Love & Peace.

more infos you can find on https://www.facebook.com/ShambalaProject or soon: www.shambala-land.com

Thanks.

Best wishes

Ray

I see no permaculture if some one else is doing for me ... I have no problem sharing anything with anyone but my joy is to be free .. free .. independent ... human being .. you understand my point .. I see to much manipulation and egoism in my life time in places where naturally you would never expect such observation .. I think I have to much respect to others as for my self

I would rather help someone do what they wish

.. and seeds are my big plan for future for sure .. I'm trying to build solid permaculture base for life time and hopefully future generations (that's up to them ofc) so I'll be in touch
