After the recent storms when we lost the roof from our stable block we have been looking at replacing it with a much bigger structure that will also accommodate tractor storage, hay storage and a place to shear the sheep and milk the goats, as well as house the horses when needed. I really want to avoid one of those awful steel agricultural buildings but we have a very limited budget. Can anyone recommend any books that may help us to come up with a design for something that is more in keeping with the landscape and using natural materials as all of the books we have relate to houses and smaller structures.
