Easiest way to keep my dog out of raised garden bed?

She thinks she's helping.. she's like "hey momma, I'm just tilling the soil for you".  Or she's like "I am tamping down the soil, don't mind me".  

Seriously, she has gotten me really furious lol.  I only scold her when I catch her in the act though because that's the only way they learn.

If I planted marigold's in each bed.. say 1 square foot in each 4' x 4' raised bed, would that be enough to keep her away?  I read they don't like the smell of them.

I could add chicken wire if needed, but it makes it hard to access the beds and costs some money.

I say this with a good deal of hesitation,  have you tried hot pepper powder`

Rocks helped a lot with both my cat and my dog. It seemed like if they couldn’t get a full stroke without hitting a rock they didn’t dig. The rocks also kept them from laying on things. The rocks probably weighed 1-2 pounds.  Concrete rubble worked great too.  I used this method mainly with strawberries.
