Hi,
My olive tree has lots of fruit this year, probably because it's massive roots invaded my septic tank--but that's another story. So I am looking for info on pressing the olives for oil--i have looked it up online and found long laborious processes involving meat tenderizer, cheese cloth, and immersion blender. Then I have seen small-batch oil presses online for sale. Has anyone tried using a small-batch, hand operated oil press machine? Can you please recommend a hand-operated model to buy (for less than $150)? I am off-the-grid so electric models won't serve.
Thanks!!!
Janie
