I really don't mind the heat in the south but the humidity has to be dealt with. Other than venting and vapor & moisture barriers are there other simple and cheap strategies? Thanks!

I don't know if this makes any sense or not but I have big wood shop, it basically a pole barn with sides on it, not insulated or sealed at all, that has oodles (lots and lots) of dried cedar lumber in there and that building seems to have much less humidity than any other structure I have and metal things don't rust in there as fast as in other buildings at my place.
