Hepatitis A is a bacteria that really needs competent medical treatment to prevent liver damage and/or death.  There are things that you can do that are helpful for the liver and the immune system but there is not, at least to my knowledge, a cure for it short of conventional medical treatment.  Leaving it untreated can lead to permanent liver damage, liver cancer, and even result in liver failure which will kill you since you cannot live without a liver.
