One thing I love about reading the posts from the boots is discussions of the emotions they work through.  Dez recently mentioned gratitude which reminded me that I need to better reconnect with my feelings in that space during difficult times.  This morning I watched a short video on gratitude that I wanted to share.

This reminds me of the conversation, maybe one of many lately that I've had with Dez, but specifically of one we had this morning. The idea of feeling so safe and loved as to be yourself. Knowing that those around you love you, and you can actually "dance like nobody's watching" because the ones watching love however you're dancing regardless of talent/movement/etc. Him having that feeling - unconditional love - is definitely something to be grateful for.

This also reminded me of a line in a mantra of sorts that I repeat to myself from time to time - "I am wealthy". I said it to myself the other day and was immediately sure that it was true, and I smiled. I am here in this beautiful place surrounded by amazing people while learning invaluable skills and supported by a greater audience of folks. I am surely wealthy.

Thank you for this, Greg. It is a good reminder in those days where the 'weather' is not exactly what we want it to be.

Ever since I found this suit I've felt strange new needs. And a tiny ad:
