New forum for Permie computing.

I was wondering if we can have a new forum for Permie computing please?

Right now their mostly spread around 'tinkering with this site', which is wierd cos most of them don't have much to do with this site.
It would be great it if had 2 subforums, one for general talking around computing in the permie world ie 'linux is better than windoze or mac" and one for more specific 'How do I get this f%*$*£g thing fixed???'

Yes, I've had a look around and the focus there isn't really the same as the majority of questions posted here.

To be honest most of the technical help requests would be better off being asked on other forums but people tend to ask the people they know.

The other part of this is the question of how computing fits into permaculture and that discussion is very much appropriately held here.

what category would the forum go into?

That's a great question.

I'm really not sure and neither is anyone else, those threads are spread over 7 or 8 categories.

I'll give it some thought.

If you are interested in the TOPICS of computing and PERMACULTURE you might like the TrashRobot.org TRASH MAGIC M4n1F3st0 The Author is really interested in self replicating modular recycleing projects.

The only place that I can think of is in the Ethics and Philiosophy forum in Cider press.

2 problems.
1, it's cider press so not everyone can post. However, since it's a philosophy question we possibly wan't people to have some experience before posting there.
2, bigger problem. Can we have more depths of forums or would it have to be a seperate forum in cider press?
