See new posts function

The function that allows you to see new posts since your last visit seems to be working differently for me over the past few weeks.

Previously, when I used that link it'd just show the new posts since my last visit. But recently it seems to not be resetting, and all posts I haven't read are on there -- including many that were not new since my last visit. I'm logged in properly and such.

Is there something I should do differently, or has the functionality been changed?

It's actually a bug in the software that runs the forums. We have been aware of it since the past few weeks and we plan to fix it here soon.

I've been to several forums that have a link to newest posts to a thread you've read before. I think this is different than what the person above mentioned (if not I don't see where that's an option).

Any plans on adding that function?
