Cleaning grey water

I've been thinking about setting up a water recycling system it will take some time before i'm ready, i want to use the water for my veg patch and compost pile the water will have soap we mainly use Fairy in the kitchen and general personal washing stuff in the bathroom. Will this water be safe to add to the garden or is there a way to filter the water first?

If you plan on recycling kitchen greywater, I recommend putting a grease trap and/or sand filter. Both are simple enough devices that go a lot way in keeping grease, oil and particles out of the mulch basin or plant area.

will that also get rid of the fairy?
