Has anyone here got this and is it worth the money? I have a great book by JJ Purcell ' the herbal apothecary '  and a few more general herbals. But I haven't had time or courage to try doing any medicines yet. I did buy JJ Purcell's children's remedy book for my neice and she loves it. I'm tempted by this one for the extra 'gift' of a garden layout of the best herbs for a SHTF situation. I just don't have enough knowledge or experience to know if it's worth it.

Hi Cathy;
We do have a copy of the lost book of herbal remedies.
It stays on top of the pile in the reading room.
All sorts of good information.
I'm not sure how often we use those remedies, as that is more Liz's department than mine, but I do pick it up and browse thru it when I'm sitting there.
Good reading! I recommend it.

Thanks. I have always been one that believes no knowledge is wasted. And have been building a library of books for years while I worked towards the goal of being self sufficient. But I have learned that most books today don't really have a lot of substance to them when it comes to actually having the facts you need to really succeed in your endeavors without additional information. I try to find the time to sift through the chaff but it's hard if you don't have a base built yet. So thanks for helping me.
