Hello! My family and I are new to permies.com but have been interested in and learning about permaculture for several years, and, most recently plant/tree guilds and food forests. We're on a 5-acre mostly wooded lot in SW Ohio and our long-term goal is the rehabilitation and restoration of the property (part of property was a dump for trash decades ago) as well as to establish tree guilds , perennial/annual gardens and coppice agroforestry areas. Glad to be here!

Welcome Andrew! I hope you are able to connect with the folks doing pc in the Cincinnati area--there are some great folks there doing good work. Tyhe folks I know best there are Braden Trauth and Sam Dunlap. Look them up and link in!

Rock on.

Thanks, Dave. Will do. I've read a little about Braden Trauth and Om Valley permaculture...we plan on visiting a couple of young food forests in the Cincinnati area this spring.
