I am a semi-experienced carpenter in the Bucks County area. This seems to be a bit of a dry spot in the permaculture community although I have not dug too deeply, hoping to find a community nearby. I'd love to find a group of people to build a tiny house community with in the area. Even just finding some people to network with and share ideas would be lovely.

Hey Dan, You found us!

Welcome to Permies. You could try starting a thread in our intentional community, or tiny house forums and see who else may be interested, or just wait for more replies here.  Do you have a space in mind, or are you looking for a location to build? Doing stuff together can be challenging, but can also be much easier than doing it all alone.

Howdy from Cumberland County.  Nice to see someone else from PA here.
Yeah, PA's funny like that.   Lots of agriculture, not so much permaculture.
As for tiny houses, I have no building experience but I'm very interested.
I know there's a fairly large tiny house "community" in Elizabethtown, but I'm not sure if that's what you have in mind.  https://tiny-estates.com/
I put the quotation marks because I'm not sure how much of a community it is, and frankly I'm a bit suspicious of how expensive it is to rent there.  I know tiny houses aren't just about saving money, but still, you'd think it wouldn't be quite so much.  I guess I'm more of the "I built my tiny house out of pallets and junkyard finds" line of thinking, though again, I have zero building experience.
