Snow and sleet here in Ga. All day. A buddy and I made a rocket heater out of an old well tank and 4 inch channel. Worked like a champ.

This is in no way meant to be an alternative to a thermal mass rocket heater with cob and masonry mass. It is a a good cheap shop heater.
any other concerns ? I am new at this.

thanks for the feedback.

To be a proper rocket, you need to insulate the bottom of the feed tube, the burn tunel and heat riser. By then, your metal will die at an alarmingly fast rate. If it's not insulated it's no rocket.

It looks like it's time for me to write you a reality check! Or maybe a tiny ad!
