Well I'm not sure if anyone will reply to that first post, the forum was dated over a year ago. So here goes nothing. Does anyone know where I can find some or buy some ink capped mushrooms? I'm trying to find them but having absolutely no luck. Anyone that could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I have found ink caps in or near horse pastures.

Since they begin to decompose (into ink) even before they are fully formed, they really can't be kept around long enough to be bought or sold. You have to have a keen eye when walking through a pasture, and then take them immediately to the skillet.
