I know of two wofati projects that are coming up.  If you reply to this post, then you will get an email when I have details about dates and other details.

The recycling bins in the Walmart parking lots and any other big blue recycling bins (Rosauer's used to have one...not sure if they still do). That's where we scored ours last year. Kind of awkward grabbing stuff out of them, but you can get a butt ton in one shot.

Do you need poles for either of these two?

I think one of the projects could, indeed, use poles.  You have a bunch?

I know of one wofati that is gonna be built in august, although I have not heard anything new from them for a couple of months.  That one was outside of hamilton.

And I know of another that is gonna be built "soon" outside of corvallis.  I was out there a few days ago and looked at a site.  They have lots of logs already dry and ready to go.

My friend Geoff, who is something of sketchup addict, has worked up several more 3-d wofati drawings.  I hope to upload those soon.  And I think he is working on even more.

Yes, I am interested in getting more information on this.  I wouldn't be able to make it to your workshops but maybe I could organize one for here.

What is a wofati? and were either of the examples mentioned in this thread ever built?
Does anyone know of any pictures or are the sketchup renderings available. I suppose the winter weather/snowfall has put a pause on the prospect of seeing one built or participating anytime soon.

The big article is at http://www.richsoil.com/wofati.jsp

There are a bunch of threads about it (including some sketchup stuff) in the alternative building forum.
