WHy?
I started to
answer two days ago but i could only think of plants that were't eatable that stay green through long droughts, artemisa does but unless you are making vermouth which it flavours it is not eatable or pretty but there are flowering plants of the same family, I don't know if they are as drought hardy. If you plant
trees they will stay green in drought at least hot country trees will, minature olives, maybe citruses, peahes ,apricots, the smell of a apricot tree when it is overd in ripe fruit is great. Here in the south of Spain they grow vegetables in winter instead of in summer under plastic that is on a market
gardening scale..Grass dries up and comes again in winter and it is not the only one that does that, bulbs do, i planted leeks i bought from the grocery store they have pretty flowers. i imagine they dry up and grow again in winter i am not sure that they have dried up yet. irises bare the whole summer without
water their leaves do they are incredible but they aren't eatable.agri
