Hey there. I recently started to compost with Dubia Roaches as an experiment in compost effectiveness and growing my own gecko food. Do you have experience with this style composting? I learned about it on the "un conventional farm er" website.

I have roaches (dubia and others), but my chickens do most of my composting, the roaches I rear to sell as pet food on the side, and because I like them.

There's a guy here in Michigan who knows a lot about roaches.  Kyle Kandilian, I think his name it.  He's be a good resource.

When I had dubia & hissers, I wasn't impressed with them, but I was just raising them for my reptiles, so I dumped the frass in the chicken coop or worm bin instead of focusing on their composting ability.
I bet they'd do well with the right system, though.

You might want to consider black soldier fly larvae. They are great feeders and compost anything super quickly

Yeah, but does being a ninja come with a dental plan? And what about this tiny ad?
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
