Hello folks!

So I just read a great thread about how bindweed is edible and that got me thinking: Is Burmuda grass edible?

So a did a small bit of googling and found that most grasses are edible but nothing specific to Burmuda grass. Most other topics talk about how awful it is. So I thought that I would ask here. I imagine the taste would be a bit blend or chewy, but I could always ferment it with spices for extra nutrition and satisfaction.

The first link didn't work, I think this is the one you mean about eating bindweed.

Plants for the Future page on bermuda grass doesn't give it an edibility rating. However, it does give a fairly high medicinal rating.

It looks like a plant worth investigating further.

I stumbled across this when looking at medicinal herbs. Apparently Bermuda grass might be a useful plant after all? According to this it's used in Ayurvedic medicine for all kinds of stuff. If nothing else, my chickens really seem to like it!

Not sure about either of these sources, so more research is definitely in order.
