I have cinch bug. i used nematods for the last few years. Now i have strawberry runners growing where the cinch bug was. Ive tried over seeding the strawberries keep going. Should I add lime to the soil.? If so is it to late to lime now? It is getting warm now.

Hi,

It's a little difficult to understand what the problem is.  Is it that you don't want your strawberries spreading?  Can't you simply pull them up?

Yeah ...  not sure what the goals here are.  Strawberries probably are not going to like the lime.  But maybe that's what you are shooting for?

At the price of strawberries i would let them grow LOL
You can always cut the runners and plant them somewhere else to make a new plant.
