Does anyone have experience composting thorns? I want to bring in some free mulch from a tree service as my desert lot is too barren for me to gather enough material. The only problem is that the mulch will have a lot of thorns (from mesquite and palo verde I'm guessing). If I hot compost and turn it really well will these break down enough that I can use the material where my kids play without them being stabbed in the foot constantly?
Thanks!

Hi Kasey,
The label on each wallet address is for you to keep track of things personally. The label can not be seen by anyone else. It is similar to creating nicknames for your bank accounts when viewing your bank website. From the "My Balances" screen just click on an address and a pop up window appears. From there you can change the label.

Interesting... Somehow I ended up with 1012 Doge. I wish transactions involving Doge would show up in the history for this wallet.

I will look into accepting Dogecoin one of these days. I currently accept bitcoin in person and here: https://bitdazzle.com/shop/handcrafted-by-erikka. Are there any good websites for selling items for Dogecoin? I'm sure I could incorporate selling for bitcoin and Dogecoin on our actual website, www.handcraftedbyerikka.com, but that's beyond my coding skills at the moment.

My wife says I can sell one soap for PERMIES.... if the price is right. I want to be the second PERMIES millionaire.

If this gets popular enough I may accept PERMIES for hand made soap. My wife will probably kill me though....

For those of you with more time than money for heavy equipment. A huge rock as part of a rocket mass heater or hearth would do wonders for your annualized thermal inertia.

Thanks John and Galadriel. I failed to mention in my original post that I do have a few CDs hanging. I tried them before I tried the foil. They worked for a few days until the birds got used to them.

Fake snakes sounds like a great idea. Now to figure out how to keep my three year old from hauling them off to his play room...
Thanks for the ideas. I will grab a fake owl and some netting and see if either work. I don't exactly have a shortage of Sun here in Phoenix so I'm not too worried about the netting shading things.
Since my move to the Phoenix area growing food has been a challenge. My newest problem is that birds are eating all my bell peppers and tomatoes just before they ripen. I wouldn't mind sharing, but my garden is only a few hundred square feet in a small urban backyard, so there aren't too many of each of these plants. I just want a short term solution, as I will be moving from this property in the winter. I have tried foil but they just poop all over it. I have also put in a bird bath as I read that the birds are probably eating the fruit for it's water content. Any other thoughts?
What ad service do you use Paul? Google? Is there any way to control who advertises on your articles? This may be a way to avoid pushing more junk to the masses.
