What do you think of taking a community approach to pet waste composting? Food scrap or yard waste composting companies won't accept it, but there's a lot of it being trashed. In the country, there's plenty of space for do-it-yourself composting. But cities and suburbs have the biggest concentration of dogs with no room for household composting. There's a company here in Denver that composts dog waste from parks and shelters, tests it and sells it in bags. They say it's a good fertilizer.
