So this may be in response to an outdated post, but what the heck?
I am currently 22. My dream is to have a cob house, natural swimming pool, some animals, and get back to the basics. Do I have a lot of knowledge and experience? No. But I have my dreams, and am set on learning with or without a partner. Growing up, my family has always lived in rental houses, so building something of my own is important to me.
My life as a Christian looks like: loving Jesus with all of my mind, body, and spirit, loving people, sharing in community, reading the Bible, praying, and of course making mistakes. I wrestle internally with the pro-choice/pro-life belief. Personally, if I were pregnant, I could not under any circumstances abort, because of the hope I have in Jesus. On the other hand, God gave us free will. On the other hand, Matthew 25:40 says, "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." So standing up for a developing fetus can arguably apply there. Maybe the best way is not to change the law, but to live as an example, point to Jesus, and let Him change hearts.
Anyways, hello, if you're there.
