I have a KuneKune boar that I picked up with the intention of breeding. He is around 7 to 8 months old, but is extremely timid. We tried placing another of our boars with him (younger/half the size) and that one instantly established dominance. We have since shifted and placed our kunekune Juliana cross with him, who is even smaller, but more laid back. He now follows the little one, but there is no fighting. I am concerned that he is too timid and that the girls are just going to boss him around even with breeding. Is there something I can do to make him a little more boar like, or to assist as I move towards breeding in the next couple of months?
