Hello everyone, my husband and I are in the planning stages to build an underground house. We live in Maine with our 4 kids and winters here can be brutal. Our house was built in 1880 and has made us very cold during the winter months.
So we are going to build an underground house this year! However, where we want to build it we cannot get a concrete truck in there. We want to leave as much of our land Undisturbed. We have been researching extensively but cannot find and alternative way to do flooring other than concrete. We do not want to have dirt floors in our house. Does anyone have any wisdom or knowledge they can share about this topic? It would be greatly appreciated by our family.
