I don't use a big tank to grow up the bettas so I have to change the water frequently. If you use 5 gallon tank , no need to change water too frequently like me.
Then the next step is just give your betta fish a proper food...for me, I use frozen bloodworm just once a day, everyday. My bettas growing fast :)
