Hello my given name is Jalen. I'm a Philsopher first and foremost. A lover of knowledge and wisdom. In my learnings i came upon permaculture about 2 years ago. Ive researched heavily and currently am applying a bit at an older ladies house as she needed a helper. Ive cleaned up the spot, helped out in the garden got things planted and we are good friends now(she even offered me the master bedroom! I turned that down, she could use a tenant whose paying rent, and decided I'll pitch a tent and sleep there when I want(i stay with me mum still and shes got no quams about it)). Totally platonic. Unfortunately i feel the need to say this due to how some of friends and family react when i tell them what im up to I really can't understand that level of thinking. peoples minds are poisoned. Shes very old and maybe its because im fit, lean and a lil handsome, so they're just poking jokes but some of my family members were serious(facepalm)(i am sick of peoples low standards and assumptions for their fellow man)... Ive actually been celibate for a bit, now abstaining from all sexual pleasure(i dont really mention this, but females who aren't good for me, do get that as the reason i won't escalate the relationship) Not going to go into whys!(and its not because i think such things are evil, lol.) Back on topic. If im offering to stay at someone's property i want you to know my lifestyle. I can be a great help. In many ways aside from physical labor which is how I want to offer my services. Im very fit(see pictures), disciplined, respectful, self aware, and LOOVE the outdoors and WOULD LOOOVE to work on a permaculture project, live off and work the land. ESPECIALLY if you've got a food forest! I've got no problems with loneliness or being away from home/friends/etc. Im a high raw vegetarian. Id like to eat a few pounds(5 to 10)of fruit a day and hopefully a salad. I eat very basic cooked meals potatoes, chickpeas. Mostly in soups. I can cook a bit. But again im a very simple eater. I've lived many places this past 2 years, and I typed 4 while writing because I feel like its been that long! So I have lived in different households and met and lived with many people over that period. Im an adventurer. I stayed at 2 national parks(working there or very close) aswell as lived and worked in 4 states, all my jobs were physical. Most recently i was staying with my dad who separated from my mom when i was little and it was great. Ive stayed in close quarters at the national park jobs(employee housing) and never had a major problem with anyone. Right now I'm at moms again and don't plan on leaving when this is posted but in a few weeks I'll be ready. Im located in Virginia the 757 Area code. Id prefer somewhere close. But I'll be able to travel depending on where you are located and the situation. I do not have a passport. Reach out to me if you'd like a helping hand! I'm interested in the simple things in life. And honestly see no good reason to bust my ass in the normal means(working a job) to have my own property if others already have one and need a hand. Im definitely not looking for a free ride and plan to pay my way in the ways I will.
