Looking for a little advice...
I was given a 150ish lbs of canola seed as chicken feed.
My laying hens already get a combo of 17% layer ration, rolled wheat and whatever they can dig up around the 10 acres yardsite/pasture.
Can I add in a scoop or two of the canola seed to their day mixture without issue?
Should I sprout it?
Should I just feed it to my meat chickens instead?
I've never had canola seed as feed before, so I'm not sure how to use it, or if I should use it.
Any info would be appreciated!
