I think renting an apartment to work in it together with someone, and I think it's a bad idea to have some project. Still, if you want to buy commercial real estate, these are slightly different things, and it's probably even illegal; I can recommend an ideal
coworking space where you can work without worrying that it's expensive or inconvenient. I'm a freelancer, and I come to this place to work because I still need a working environment and some equipment that I don't want to buy at home. It is much more convenient than a rented apartment.
