and dating without a subscription of some sort, so after reading Wheaton's book
Building a Better World in Your Backyard instead of Being Angry at Bad Guys, I decided to check this place out!
I own about 70 mostly wooded acres in northern Michigan, where I am very slowly building out an off-grid homestead. It'd be great to tackle this challenge with someone like you!
More about me. I'm a Christian. I'm 31 years old, 6'3" tall, weigh about 200 lbs., and have blonde hair. I'm in average shape but that is changing as I continue to work on projects. Like you, I'm fed up with our current technology-dependent culture and certain aspects of government. Ironically, I work remotely as a software developer to pay the bills for now, but I would love to transition to a completely self-sufficient lifestyle. I'd like to have a family and kids.
I'm highly educated, but I realize that this isn't all it's cracked up to be. The good news is that I implement what I've learned in many projects around my homestead. I've designed my own PV system; I know simple carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills; I have, at least in my opinion, a big garden; I'm aware of technological trends and technology privacy strategies. While I enjoy cooking, animals, and bicycles, your skills would be most welcome.
How do you envision a divorce from government in your life beyond not having a future marriage license? What are your favorite animals?
