Maybe Im just the fly in the happy sauce. But it seems like those who keep telling me to live smaller and use less, are the same ones with mansions and yachts and private planes. All that pour tonnes more CO2 into the air than my pickup. Or use more water and resources than my
little homestead.
This topic inspired me to write a blog piece tonight.

I am building a small homestead in the Poconos in PA. I would like to sell excess products produced here.. honey, eggs, seedlings and the like. I’ve registered as an llc. But Im having trouble finding general liability insurance to cover the business. I was told through Liberty Mutual that I could sell plants and honey but not eggs? Seriously!?! So I wondering what you do to cover yourselves? Thanks.

Add A couple of yoyo fishing reels. They are cheap light and compact.. they will provide a meal while you are off doing something else and they can be used as a perimeter alarm at night if you are stuck somewhere. I love dual purpose items.

I have always thought of EDC as concentric circles with me in the center.  What is the lightest stuff you can carry every day and feel safe and prepared. Then, what can I add to my vehicle.
My EDC, on person, is a knife, a lighter, a pen (a zebra f-701), a couple pages from a rite in the rain note book, 100.00 cash (small bills) a multitool, a pistol and extra mag, ID with carry permit and my phone and an analog watch.  I then expand that to my vehicle with a GHB.  Get Home Bag.. and first aid kit. The GHB changes with the season but always has food and water, clothes, fire, ammo et.
