I'd like to second Carla, butternut squash ketchup sounds really interesting. I'd like to try it.

Is there any reason why ya'll don't use painted or enameled barrels?

I'm not very good at prepping for several reasons, but I think the ones I read have the now aspect about right. "Start now, you should have started 10 years ago.  The best time to plant a tree is 10 years ago."  But given that, they mostly seems to say do what you can now.  Don't wait until you can do it right to start.  I think this is good advice, and you should take anything that is obvious marketing with a grain of salt (and you know, check prices).

I'm a little confused.  So if you complete all four PEP certifications, how many of each level badges have you done?
I'm guessing 16 sand badges, 15 straw badges, 12 wood badges, and three iron badges. Is this correct?

Can you work on straw badge if you are stuck on the sand badge?
