Well, Giselle welcome to Texas. Interesting items that you are seeking. I do not know for sure where you would be able to gather those items. I would check out Tractor Supply Co. for chicken plucking fingers and maybe supplies for your tree sap adventure. If you can not find what you are looking for there, hopefully some of the folks can point you in the right direction. As for the steam juicer, sorry, but you maybe on your own on that one.

I am fairly new to the permie group. I love what I see so far. I travel around Texas a lot mostly for family and natural building. I recently finished an online Permaculture Design Course with Geoff Lawton. My first project is in a wittle bitty town called Bayside, about 35 miles north of Corpus Christi. The project is right on the bay and I am also apart of construction on the straw bale home for our client. I would love to check out any sites that have Natural building or permaculture in the works. I appreciate the information on buying land, taxes, and Veterans loans, as my father is in search of land west of San Antonio/Austin.
