Ok you boots. Where are the pics? $1.00 for each pic of tools and stuff of you using them. Up to one hundred pics, when that is done then We will donate Another $100 to Paul for being Paul. This money is starting to mould in my pocket and giving me a heavy heart. I have seen pics of our used to be stuff on other pages, put them over to mine and get a dollar each pic. If this is too complicated maybe a class could be started on how to get money out of an old fart before he dies and leaves it to his neer-do-well nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Von Raderson
We,Eric Von Raderson and Ms Barb, do pledge $1.00 for one photo of each tool or item showing it being used by a boot, that was donated by Barb and I and is put on Erics thread. (look the thread up) To a limit of 100 photos. If and when the 100 photos are met, we also will donate $100.00 to our very close friend, the guy that wears overalls and does not like to step in dog poo.
Eric and Barb will pledge $1.00 for each photo of a boot using any item that was given to Pauls journey to change the world from bad guys to good guys.up to $100.00 and posted on the thread that Eric started.
I heard through the grapevine that you have acquired some professional music equipment that most anyone could play. Why not have a sing-a-long with Paul leading as first voice. Please do not take this lightly for music soothes the savage soul, so I've read. Winter and cabins do have a fevered reputation. Eric
Mike, did you get to see the blue anvil of Pauls? I haven't heard about if the glass panes will work for projects or not, also about the fire doors. I need some feedback so I can plan my next move. I know everyone is probably really busy now but I am an old fart and need to get er done before I am too far under ground to be able to move at all. Respectfully Yours, Eric PS Beau, are you coming back to our humble home and if so when?
I offered gas money to go anywhere in the US for helping me to help someone else. No takers. Pauls rules apply at my place, that scared them off. My offer is now off the table. I swear a lot to my self. Thor helps those who help themselves, Just saying.
Mike, I am sending you two boxes up to Montana. Make sure to ask Beau for them. I have four pieces of rail each about 30 inches long which would make 8 anvils. I have seen anvils made on the internet, it looks like it would take some time to get one made though. I am sending an anvil to Paul for his personal use, be sure to get him to show it to you. Eric
Sir, I have some copper, lots of galvanized and plastic pipe plumbing connections. I have a lot, meaning at least a half a ton of new old rubber hose that came from a business that repaired gas station hoses, from the delevery truck rubber to the pump hoses 3"&4" I also have a pipe threading tool that I believe goes up to 4" that puts threads on well pipe. I have a lot of finish trim, some as long as 20'.Would you want all this stuff? I brought up some time ago about making a shop or storage area of a 40' dry van that I have. I have did this before and it turned out to be one of the things that worked out really well for me. The chassis is taken out and sold and the box is set on the ground, on small blocks. I have steel shelving for it. The van has a good oak floor. I see it as an extention, butted up to your shop. I have no one to bounce my ideas off of, so I am using this forum to. Thanks for the list, keep adding to the list, one never knows. helps me to know what to bring next. PS I forgot about asking you if I could come up to the Holy Land. I would be a good boy and mind my manners and obey my elders, if there is one there. Eric
Thank You for the info all. I think I have it covered now. Still would like a current list of stuff wanted by Paul. I just might have it. 60 years of going to auctions and now have it all. Now to get rid of it.
Beau, are you able to pull a small two wheel trailer behind your pickup? Could I maybe ride up with you? Do you have a couple of days that you could help me? I would buy the gas from my place to Pauls and back home. Let me know as soon as you can so I can plan what to do. Thanks.
Mike, I was thinking before the snow starts. I am not really sure of what Paul would want what I have. I do know that he could use more different sizes of nails and bolts.I do not know if his want list is current or not. I sure do need some direction on this for I do not want to take anything he could not use..
Let me clairify my need for help. I do not want to take any helpers away from Mr. Weatons endeavors. Maybe a couple close to Western Nebraska. I will also give them a bit of cash, but remember, the more I have to give out the less Paul gets to make the world a better place. Just saying. So, get your sons-in-law off thier dead asses and send them to me.
Talking about nails, I have nails and nails also smaller nuts and bolts. They all need to be put in containers and labeled. I also have welding tools and other great stuff that Paul does not know about. I need a couple of strong backed people to help me load Pauls next load from the desert of Western Nebraska. Room and board supplied, plus gas money to any where in the USA after we are loaded. Permie people are at the top of my list for this amazing offer. Pauls rules apply at this Nebraska location. If you do not know what they are, look them up. Permies.com. My truck is in the shop getting ready for the delivery. We will have fun. Let me know on this thread.
It is amazing the way that Paul manages to keep everything moving forward with his exceptional skills and those of his helpers.
Has anyone found my iPad Air which is inside a small black bag? I think I left it sitting beside the rocking chair in the Fisher-Price House. I would happily reimburse the person who would mail it to me.
We also wish to thank all of you for making us feel welcome. We appreciate all of the positive feedback from you Permies. May you live long and prosper.
Paul. Eric here. I have not received permission from you to come to your place. If you give me the go ahead, I will need directions. We are coming from the East on I-90 We are self contained so you will not have to do anything special for us. I would just like to look at your kitchen facilities and your shop. It would be nice to meet you, but if not ok. We refigured our arrival time to be on the 24th of Aug. We have a bunch of stuff that you have on this list that we will bring.
Paul, as I was loading for the trip and got to thinking about the people I have had around me that made me look better than I really am. I have also been one of those people that made other people look better. From my reading I know you have some really great people helping you make the world a better place. So anyway all this chatter is leading up to the question, does Jocelyn and Fred have a wish list? Big or small maybe we could bring some of thier wishes with us.World peace is out tho, maybe something more tangibile like would fit on your new, old trailer with your new big surprise already loaded on it. Paul, our goal is get rid of all our stuff we have before we die. We have one daughter who has no need of our stuff. Back to the chainsaws. Of the stuff we have that you cannot use or allow I thought that maybe someone other than me could sell it someway somehow and the money would come back to your devious plot to enrich the planet. Barb and I only need a roof over our head and not starve to death. I think I only have about 5 years left considering my people have been dying in there early 80s.Barb is of the same way thinking about herself. I be best pissing in the wind, late lunch is ready E
We were thinking the time frame of Aug.22 as the soonest, to the first week of Sept. staying only a couple of days. About the 40 ft. semi-trailer dry van. We would not be taking it up to you at this time. This time we will be taking our Ford E350 Club Wagon pulling a two wheeled trailer loaded with the logging tools and maybe a big surprise for you. The trailer, tools and surprise will be yours to keep no matter what we together decide about us joining the great experiment. I cannot remember your take on gas chainsaws. May they be used on any of your property? I have such a hard time finding stuff on these new-fangled computer dealies and I know how one gets tired of answering the same questions over and over. So if they are allowed I will bring them along. If I can figure out how to send you some pics I will.
PS I am a computer incompetent. I type with one finger. I just found the spell checker that has been screwing me up all the time. My idea was for you to use what we bring or to sell what you could not use. The monies could go into your domination pot. If you allow us to check you out we would bring a van and trailer loaded with cool logging stuff. We are the people you have talked about leaving thier farm to someone who could stick it out and by following good common sense end up with the farm. We do not have a farm. We have lots of stuff, good stuff, everybody is talking about our great stuff. We have so much stuff we do not know what to do with it. Wait!! I know a guy who knows his stuff, lets take the stuff to him. He knows a lot of people who do not have stuff. He could have them work for some of the stuff. Everyone will cheer. People from all around will come and look at the stuff that the stuff has made happen. He will be remembered. E&B
I have been following you for a few years now, punrchased many of your materials and listened to your numerous Podcasts. Your seanse of humor is appreciated. My wife of 55 years and I belieber that we would be a good fit for your endeavor. Both of us were raised in homes with outdoor toilets and no running water inside the house. Barb was a farm girl who hand milked cows and did field work. Barb has retired from a forty years career teaching children birth through twenty-one including children with visual impairments, deaf-blindness, and multiple disabilities. I worked 3 jobs to get her through college. She is smart. I was smart for marrying her. She is the oldest of 5, and I am the youngest of 6. We bought a lumberyard and hardware store 9 years ago that had sat empty for 4 years
We raise a garden, can our own food and eat as organically as possible. We don’t do tobacco and have an occasional glass of wine. We are both athiests but are tolerant of others beliefs.
We have had woofers try to help us through the years, but sadly they have been (execept for 2) a real disappointment. We have had to change our plans for the future due to heart issues. We would like to visit to check out your labs and ti determine if we would be a good fit for you. We have taken your your tour on the Internett so don’t need to do that when we visit. I would like to see your shop and kitchen to determine what I have that would be of use to you. i will bring pictures of my stuff for you to peruse. If there is money involved for our visit, we will take care of it. We have over 10,000 books, VCR and cassette tapes, CD’s, and magazines. There would be the possibility of a library in a 40 foot dry van; remiving the bogey and installing some type of wood facade around It to FIT into your
We have a steady income and medical insurance. Maybe have a small home built or something you have already built. Thanks. E & B.
We have quite a bit of gardening tools and hardware. We have over 10000 books from a used book store. We have lots of woodworking and welding tools. We have the means of delivering them. We are 897 miles from Missoula. If Paul is interested in a trade or whatever let us know.
Tom, we have a small two bedroom house that could be fixed up to live in. We plant a big garden. We have a welding shop and a wood shop.We would supply all the food. It is 12 miles to town. You would have the opportunity to make and sell stuff on your own for income. I have a lot of material to make stuff with. We live in a small unincorporated almost ghost town. Only has a post office. School bus picks up kids. We have well water from our own solar deep well. We are two people married 55 years. We have been there, done that. We believe one gets what they work for. We live in the middle of where nowhere starts. West central Nebraska. If Tom and his family isn’t interested how about anyone else. Mr Dean
