I looked up some images of it in full flower and looks like it is going to be a beautiful plant.

These showed up in the pot with a nursery rose of my son's...from seed, we think?
There was a red verbenia also and it's been ID'd and repotted.

Is this a young royal empress/paulownia tree?
My first guess was butterprint but I haven't seen that plant since walking beans in Illinois in the sixties.  The leaves are that soft though.

The third photo is after repotting so it's a little stressed...it had about an eight inch tap root.

This small  (half inch) flower in the last two photos looks like some sort of ground cover? I love it's color and hope it's a perennial.
