No answer here, but I bet if you took your photos and a sample to Cistus Nursery on Sauvie Island they might know. Portland is filled with little known exotics and they are a main supplier of them.

Some kind of vetch. Good cover crop, nitrogen fixer, good bee plant, good forage....but it will take over your cool season garden if you let it!

Hello world wide web of permies. I stumbled across permaculture one rainy day recently and now my wife thinks I have a plant research addiction. She still loves me though. Anyone know what these seemingly leguminous nitrogen fixing plants are? The last shot was taken near 1000 acres park. While the first two are in my back yard in NE Portland's Alberta Arts District. First post here, so thanks in advance.
