Hmm. Did I see that subliminally? I find it really hard to read paragraphs of small, san serif type.

I wonder why they said just the curves though? Looks like the flat walls are made of the same material.

Anyone have any idea what the wall is made of? Sort of looks like a bad sheet wall job but it also sort of looks like fabric.

From the second link you posted, it is written:
"The curves on the inside of the dwelling are covered with stretched canvas, firmly stapled in place and painted with white wash"

Or maybe thicker, like painters canvas? With gesso.

I thought fabric as soon as I saw it. I know I have seen it before in a tiny house gallery online. Painters' drop cloths come to mind.

What are those interior walls made of?

It is only because of the cabin from the original post is so small that it is cozy in the coldest winter days in that climate. The windows and skylights are clearly not going to be much of a weather barrier, nor the lack of skirting to keep the floor warm. But the place is cute, for sure.

I agree, CJ, about the pressboard around the tub. I'd likely not want to build with that stuff anyway, but particularly not in a bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere it's likely to be repeatedly dampened.

...off the third page of the cabin porn site, I like the one carved out of the sandstone and covered with plants, and the one with the steeple entrance for deep snow!

It's amazing what can look good in a photo! That first cabin makes press board look appealing! I wonder how that press board floor around the bath held up after 100 baths dripped water on to it?
