A dung beetle.

I know, most people would pick some famous person. But for me, dung beetles are da bomb. And they are very permaculture-y. I lived in big "dung beetle" country in Kenya. While other people were out scoping for lions and elephants, I was on the lookout for dung beetles.

Some people are weird. (not mentioning any names... )

















Of course there is fame to be had in being a dung beetle - in ancient Egypt, the dung beetle (scarab) rolled the sun across the sky.
