I'd like to repeat my question if I may!  Once again, the asparagus is starting to unfurl its fronds, the asparagus beetles have moved in and been duly squished, and sort of attached to one of the fronds is a large slightly dessicated and very dead hoverfly type creature, or possibly a yellow dung fly, there were lots of those around at the weekend on the sludge from the nettle fertiliser.  It's weird.

my first thought was - Does Asparagus kill flies ? Yes if you hit them hard enough
I wonder if its because I have noticed lots of spiders in Asparagus ,
