This is a reply to an old post, but I couldn't resist.
Yep, we grind chillies and use a facemask too. Here’s a picture of some volunteers that I roped in. I like to remove the stems, break the chillies in half and swish them, crispy, around in a big dry basin, and then grind more of the skins than of the seeds. We grind them in a blender, which works great for large quantities.

Ahhhh... the olden days.  When we spoke of uses and materials for face masks...

Ah, when the class brings a HUGE bouquet of chive flowers, they just have to go on and in almost every dish!

Thanks to Devin (here) for capturing this one. Zoodles with peanut sauce and chive blossoms.

Wow.

PDC students and Alan win big for this Missoula Farmers Market bounty!

I cried.

(Well, to be fair, I'm not *that* sappy about food - I was just having a rough day and the loveliness of it all go me...ya know?)

Mike took a picture of a cake I made on Tuesday (here) - he was here for the PEP1 gathering.

When you have 150 pounds or so of potatoes and you need to start using them. Plus, you want to make full use of the oven being on.

Most of this food came from Azure Standard.
