YES IT IS MORE PROCESSED, AS WE CANNOT AVOID POLLUTION ENTIRELY, AND SOME PEOPLE HAVE A PROCLIVITY  TO CERTAIN PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES, AT TIMES THERAPY IS NEEDEED. The thing about juicing is the therapeutic benefits, I have treated menstrual issues, in the day that was an issue, and have done liver cleanses, beet n' apple,  as I did have my party days. Anyway the juice can be therapeutic, and medicinal. If you are an individual , so clean and wholly organic, this may not be necessary, but as I am trapped between two worlds I am realistic and look to nature to nurture me in many ways. I am still looking for info on generatin my own water kefir chrystals. Or should  I say growing more from my little bit'o stuff.    thanks

I have "brewed" 2 batches of water kefir in th past week, I find it deliscious, not too fizzy, but I may  have to brew longer, I kept tasting after the first 24 hrs to check sweetness, as recommended, ...I then added the lemon slices and let it sit at room temp an additional 12 hrs, about. Believe me there was no timer going off. I think it tastes fabulous.    So I still have a  couple of questions, How much probiotics is in  8 oz of this great stuff. I am wondering, after a round of antibiotics is 8 oz a day would be helpful to rebuild the good stuff in the intestines,,,,,, and the other question , which  have not yet had an answer to, is well water, only adjusted for ph  with neutralite ( I dont know what it is, cuz i have a still for all my consumption)  anyway will this well water adjusted with neutralite grow grains, and and additional question is how long does it take to multiply grains, with the proper medium.... I make 2 quarts of yogurt a week with raw milk, not organic, but with the proper energy vibration, it has served me well, in summer I slow down on yogurt and would love some stats on kefir,,,,,water style... oh my gosh I am so stuck in the scienceeee.... help  meee  thanks

I am new to the forum, although I am not new tothe ideas and practices, I moved to the burbs not by choice 17 yrs ago , birth of son , man dated by "now" ex husband  any way i am so stoked, I have found my chicken coop I gave away, still in tact and with the fencing, The person I gave it to did pheasant for awhile, now it is vacant, I am getting it back, and I cant wait birds are so much pleasure. It will be a project to move it back as i am maleless, and guys are just stronger and tie things down better. So I guess I will be hiring someone,,, cant afford it but I am so excited about it.The poop will fertilize, the leftover food will feed,,,,, they are fun to get to know...It will add to the other things I am doing and in a short period of time I will have things to barter with...... Thanks for the opportunity to check out like minds..... of a sort, we are all very different

I have been juicing off and on for 35 years, yeh old hippie, anyway my first centrifgal juicer was the first thing i ever bought on credit, it Was a champion, it mad 16 oz of beautiful clear liquid. Carrot was my first love. It was a nuisance to clean, however, at the time it was the only appliance I had and it was worth it. I have since had many, the juiceman juicer, not to be confused with the Jack Lalane juicer(which I returned) was ther best. His book was and is a great reference book and the juicer was a workhorse. My 21 year old has my second one at her home, I have moved on to the Breville. My only complaint it the feed hole is so big and it is so powerful, that proper assembly and cafeful prep is needed or it will take off into outer space, It works quickly and with so many years of juicing, cleaning just comes with the territory and the pulp goes in the compost. no waste.....I also grow wheat grass from time to time, and the hand crank wheat grass juicer is plastic and does the job, I would not use my breville for the delicate process of wheat grass juice, Jay Kordich's book has so many realistic suggestions and facts..... you will be excited to juice.

Rejuvelac is a fermented wheat berry drink, wheat grass drinkers,  usually wander along the path and at some time or another make rejuvelac, mad famous by ann wigmore, hippocrates institute. It is very refreshing and easy to make, plenty of web recipes, the kefir water grains, i just completed my first batch.I have seen two major contradicitons in recipes, one states use only distilled water with the lemon etc, andthe other says never use distilled, need the minerals from the well and also do not use lemon in first ferment, it is hard on the grains, and proper grain  multiplication may not happen.,  I would love some feedback from an experienced kefirbrewer. Thanks

THANKS FOR THE INFO, I LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS, SO NOT ANYWHERE NEAR YOU, I DID FIND AN ONLINE SOURCE, SO I  HAVE SENT FOR THE NON DAIRY CHRYSTALS, I AM ALWAYS TRYING NEW THINGS, GROWING WHEAT GRASS,  DEHYDRATING EVERYTHING, YOGURT, ETC.  BUT THIS SOUNDS WONDERFUL, AS THE REJUVELAC I HAVE BEEN MAKING IS GETTING OLD,,,, IT IS REFRESHING BUT NOT TO EVERYONE....
