My husband really wants to go to UC Berkeley beginning in 2013 (fall) and I can't imagine living without
land. To top it off, we do not have tons of money (currently, who knows how things may change). I want to live somewhere that I can continue to have a couple of goats and small flock of
chickens, as well as having a garden. I am hoping to find some kind a sweet deal, maybe anywhere within a half hour radius of Berkeley with someone who owns land and would like someone to be productive with it, or if there are people already doing permaculture/organic stuff with their land and want help. I would also be happy to do some sort of live in nanny position, though it would be preferable to have our own little space to live, and I know many people who want nannies don't want husbands along for the ride.
I would be open to living in our own structure on someones
yard as well (yurt, trailer, etc.). This is all in the early stages currently, but I want to have contacts so that next spring when we are sure of where we are going we have options. Thanks!
