If you have a smart phone, then the Seek app is very good. It works without a signal. You can also post to iNaturalist where a bunch of people will kindly help you. I used both when I first moved to the US and helped me identify and learn about lots of trees and plants in my new home.
I feel it looks more like tulip poplar than sweetgum.
