Howdy Yall

I have 6 beef cattle 5 heifer and 1 steer.  They are on 10 acres with some feed to keep them happy.   They also have hay available.   I have 4 wire high tensil fencing for permiter fencing with 2 hot wires.  They are all 2 years old and the first year I tried rotation grazing with  polybraid wire, but they just went through it at times.   This year I just let them have at the pasture and they really cherry picked it and it seems I had a alot of weeds come up that they would not eat and I had to mow pasture.   In the winter I bring the up to the arena by the house and feed hay so pasture and recoup.   I am thinking next spring to try paddocks again.  What does everyone use for internal paddock fences.

We have always used 2 strands of electric 1 hot 1 ground that way they get a good shock. It's hard to get young cows to respect this though.
